Atlanta Birth Center
Many of you may remember our participation in the Hulu documentary Aftershock, highlighting the alarming mortality rate for Black women giving birth in the U.S. Despite the dangers, Felicia and Paul once again trusted midwifery with the care of their family. Unfortunately, such care remains scarce, with only two centers in Georgia. The Atlanta Birth Center provided Felicia with a complication-free, medication-free delivery of Baby Rose, and they were home by 6 PM that same day. As a nonprofit, the center offers services to all qualified women, regardless of their ability to pay. Please consider donating to support this invaluable resource for women in Georgia.
